Flies

There's too many fucking flies. As soon as the window is open they are in and they are too thick to get back out again. I'm having to defend my drinks all day.

Is it the heat?? I can't use any sort of killer as I have 3 little children. I'm so mad! Am I being unreasonable to fashion a flamethrower out of hairspray and a lighter and murder them all once the children are in bed?

flies are a important part of the ecosystem yes they are bloody annoying and spread so many germs but without them the place would be far worse poo would not be broken down, corpse of animals would be left everywhere they are a key part in decomposition of things they are natures binmen so to speak.

I do not have poo or corpses in my house so the flies can fuck off to the poo and corpses elsewhere

pigsDOfly · 21/07/2018 15:22

Yes, I think we all know that flies serve a purpose in clearing up waste but so do several other animals: vultures, carrion crows etc - although I'm not sure they deal with poo but they certainly clear up corpses - and they seem to be able to manage it with vomiting on our food whilst carrying out their service to human kind.

I'm aware they have their place but they can fuck off as my house is lovely and clean and I suspect they are about because my neighbour leaves 24 hours worth of dog poo in her yard before getting it up.

*without vomiting on our food, not with.

We have a little net to catch them and release into the garden. Grin

Tedious and time consuming but I don't want to kill anything.
