Disappointing day out AIBU

I went to see Jeremy Kyle being filmed. I had to turn up early with no guarantee of a seat but as I was one of the first in the queue I luckily got in as was queuing from the night before. Wish I hadn’t now or gone on another day because it was a show about inspirational children and a reunion of a father and son. Erm.. I wanted fights and arguments and a laugh! Is there anything I can do? Has anyone else had the same thing happen? If I email and explain my disappointment do you think they will send me guaranteed tickets to a more dysfunctional shoe? Just my luck really! 🙄

I think anyone prepared to watch JK deserves to get fights and arguments, and as many bleeped out f words as possible - enjoy.

The need to queue is genuine, I took ds on the studio tour at media city last year (fantastic day out btw) and there was a massive queue which we were told was people hoping to watch JK show being recorded

Jeremy Kyle is always on in our tea room at work. I am always most disappointed on my break if it’s not shouting, affairs and DNA tests so YANBU. There should be a warning, no wonder you felt cheated!

Well name change or not I'll add to what I said. I think there has to be something inherently unpleasant about people who actually go out of their way to laugh at dysfunctional behaviour and this sort of thread is one of the reasons I'd like to I name changing restricted. I don't think I'd like to engage with you whatever name you're using and you obviously don't want this unpleasant attitude associated with your normal name.

Can't help it. I love that show. Best ones are when a formerly crappy person gets help and then comes back and they're all fixed and it's all happy tears and reunions.

Why don't you apply for new tickets? I have been (most boring and wasteful day imo) we didn't go hours early to get in... just 30 mins before got in fine...

Try The Wright Stuff, they're always asking for audience members. I'd say try and get a day when Scott Capurro's on but no doubt you'd miss that as well.

Don't know why anyone is acting surprised that OP wanted to see the screaming and the fights. Surely the people who want to go are the people who want to see this, you wouldn't bother with the hassle otherwise?

You'll just have to try again OP tickets were free they don't owe you anything. Might be no harm in sending an email and trying you're luck though. You don't ask you don't get and all that.
