AIBU to ask what I might have just eaten?

I was making a Thai green curry but went up halfway through to put my baby down for a nap.

As I lay next to my sleeping babe, in the very dim light, I noticed a bit of coriander on my phone. For some reason - possibly because there were no wipes nearby but I can't be sure - I wiped the coriander off my phone and ate it.

But in the millisecond before I put it in my mouth, but too late to stop my action, I saw it move on my finger.

And it didn't taste like coriander.

What did I just eat?

Oh god. No idea but I'm intrigued in a gross way.

You don't have a fan on in the room or a window open and it could have been a breeze blowing it.... clutching at straws for you!

probably a caterpillar or a bug of some sort

I've seen little red insects that look like coriander on plants, but I don't know what they are.

I read somewhere that we all ingest a certain amount of insect matter in our lifetime, without knowing it, so I am sure it's harmless.

Hadn't even occurred it me that it might not be harmless...
