To apply for a job that pays half of what I’m currently earning but has more potential for promotion?

Currently working part time, on a good wage but there’s no room for promotion or to gain qualifications, the job is quite stressful and despite only being part time my job tends to continue when I get home (emails, phone calls etc..).

I have been offered an interview for a similar role but the pay is a lot less (almost half what I get) but there is the potential to work my way up and gain qualifications.

AIBU to take a huge pay cut but to give myself more potential in the future?

If you can afford it and its inline with your goals. Ive recently done similar but for happiness and better mental health and i dont regret it :-) good luck with what you decide
