Milk, water or squash.

Bloodybridget · 18/07/2018 00:55

We offer water, milk or orange juice as that's what we have in the house.

ThisIsHistory · 18/07/2018 00:55

Depends on age of kids and occasion. Usually water and fruit juice. Special occasions there might be fizzy drinks too, especially with older kids.

DramaAlpaca · 18/07/2018 00:55

As above.

steff13 · 18/07/2018 00:56

We generally only have water, milk, or iced tea. They could help themselves to any of those.

AWomanIsAnAdultHumanFemale · 18/07/2018 00:57

They can have whatever is in the fridge which is usually orange or Apple juice, milk, a smoothie, or those squash type drinks from ASDA by that look like they’re in milk cartons. or tap water.

melse2964 · 18/07/2018 00:57

Water, squash or carton (juice)

Wellthisunexpected · 18/07/2018 02:33

Water or milk as that's all we have in. If I know someone is coming to visit who allows their kids other things to drink I'll often buy that in for them though.

OkPedro · 18/07/2018 02:37

Water or milk.. I'll offer juice if they're eating lunch or dinner with us
Same as my own children

RoboJesus · 18/07/2018 02:38

We only have juice

redcaryellowcar · 18/07/2018 06:41

I put water on the table for when they eat, but also offer juice (usually we have orange and apple) and if we have squash I offer that too. I used to just offer water, but think I tend to offer what we've been offered when we have visited that family (sort of a reflection of their values.

Peanutbuttercups21 · 18/07/2018 06:43

Whatever we have

On good days we have Tropicana juice, squash, j2o, coke etc.

Mostly these get consumed so quickly, that all there is left to offer is water, tea, coffee or Lidl squash

Mumof1DS · 18/07/2018 06:44

The only children we get visiting at the moment who are old enough to be given drinks are my neices, 7 and 4. I offer water or milk, and squash if I have checked with their mum that they can have it. She limits their squash per day.

implantsandaDyson · 18/07/2018 06:44

Water, milk or dilutable juice. If it's a sleepover I usually offer some fizzy juice as well.

Herja · 18/07/2018 06:45

Milk, water, squash. If a family is coming for a meal I will get nice juice for everyone, but I don't generally buy it. On birthdays there will also be lemonade and ginger beer. At christmas something like the belvoir fizzy drinks (because my grandad is in charge of drinks at christmas and less stingy than me).

strawberrisc · 18/07/2018 06:45

My local shop is around the corner. I ask what they want but no energy drinks.

Cherubfish · 18/07/2018 06:45

Water or squash.

megletthesecond · 18/07/2018 06:46

Only water.

ShatnersBassoon · 18/07/2018 06:48

Older kids here so they help themselves, usually to water or a can of Coke Zero.

FlowerPotMum · 18/07/2018 06:50

Water/milk/dilute pop. I'll offer Pepsi max/ lemonade/Fanta to the teens who visit. Don't have it in often so the have to make do with the above 😀.

Canwejustrelaxnow · 18/07/2018 06:51

Water, milk or squash, same as my own dc.

WhoKnowsWhereTheW1neGoes · 18/07/2018 06:53

Water or Ribena. Most opt for the Ribena.

MarshaBradyo · 18/07/2018 06:53

Water, I don’t buy squash

Amanduh · 18/07/2018 06:53

Water or squash

MrsPear · 18/07/2018 06:53

Milk, water, orange juice or apple juice - same as our children. Much to the disdain of one visiting parent all children under 5 get plastic cup. Our drinking glasses are heavy.
