To think my cat has a problem

My DF recently rescued a lovely cat, he's is brill [cat and DF, both fabulous] and we've been feeding him Felix which he scoffs happily. DF bought a multi pack of Sheba, well, pussycat won't touch it. It's a gender thing I'm certain. AIBU to insist that he eats it, female name or not?

Forgot to add obligatory pic of cat, you can see she is "starved" in her eyes but not in mine

My cats have always hated gravy cat food. Does it have gravy? Or perhaps it's the other way round for yours? Anyway, they only eat it in jelly.

Youngest DCat recently went completely off the prawn version of his food that was previously his favourite. Started preferring the chicken version that a few months back had been declared inedible. A couple of days ago I tried it again (after a number of rejected bowls of it) and bugger me it's back in favour again! They're all fickle. And they enjoy playing games with us.

Claire ours eat the jelly. Just the jelly. And leave the meat cubes. Now, I got to thinking that if I were to give them extra meat jelly that they might like that. Perhaps I could even put some extra jelly on the un-jellied meat cubes and they'd eat a few. No. No. No. Jelly on its on in a bowl - no way. Extra jelly? Nope. They will not eat jelly unless it's been licked off spat out meat chunks and wasn't I an utter knobhead to even think about it.

They also only eat 1 type of dried food. It took weeks to discover which, but we have to stick with that. I still have a box of whiskers that I use to rattle and call them in - but God forbid I actually feed them the whiskers. If that goes in the bowl they sort through and leave the green and yellowy bits.

They also eat rancid pigeons, rats, flies, ants, stag beetles, birds, bees but when presented with fresh roast chicken will walk away in disgust.
