.... or do you think these are fakes? I really want one but can’t bring myself to pay £70 for a wee bag. I see these are half price, but wondering if they are fakes.

Oh spider. That might actually be useful as a wee nappy bag for my son!

I might get one myself if mine doesn't materialise soon - need a biggish bag to cart camera etc. round on holiday, which is why I fell for the FB link one in the first place.

P3onyPenny · 16/07/2018 16:25

Pretty sure mine is fake as cost under £10. I think the originals are££££££ for what they are. Put mine next to a genuine one and bar the feel of the fabric I couldn't see anything to justify the ££££.

Mammalamb · 16/07/2018 17:33

Pony at under a tenner, I would defo think that yours is fake! But the fakes I saw were £35 each plus p&p

Here Fjällräven. Mixed reviews for the site but legitimate.

spiderlight · 17/07/2018 10:57

Oooooh, excitement! I now have a tracking number, and apparently 'The item has arrived in the transit airport' so I will hopefully be getting something! Looks as if it's coming via the Netherlands. I very much doubt whether it will be authentic but I shall report back Grin

glueandstick · 17/07/2018 13:05

I got my on amazon for £45.

Hate to say it but I hate it. The bag opens too far so everything falls out and it’s very uncomfortable....

LanceStatersGold · 17/07/2018 13:50

There’s a couple in the ASOS sale. About £32 I think.

MrsPreston11 · 17/07/2018 14:11

They great. DH and I have had them for over 10 years. Last forever.

Mammalamb · 17/07/2018 15:38

I reckon ASOS should be genuine? X

@glueandstick that's what's making me swither about buying one, the straps look really skinny. On the other hand I was sitting opposite a girl in an airport lounge that had one and it looked really nice. That's how I discovered the brand. Took me ages to figure out the name as the badge looked embroidered rather than the sticker type one.

StormcloakNord · 17/07/2018 16:30

Can anyone tell me if these would be okay for college? Got a 13 inch small laptop to lug around and other bits and pieces

Littlewhitedove · 17/07/2018 16:39

Hi...we have bought my daughter 3 of the kanken back packs over the last coupl of years, large, medium and small. They are cool and trendy so she (18) loves them but they are really good quality and hard wearing. She is currently interrailing around Europe with one on her back. I believe that you get what you pay for in this world and these are worth the money.

Mari50 · 17/07/2018 16:46

StormcloakNord
I have the laptop version, it’s a great bag and the compartment for the laptop is great. Mine was £80 but definitely worth the money.
Dd has the normal kanken but she prefers the straps on mine which are padded....
They’re nice wee bags.
Don’t understand why people buy fakes though.

NibbleOnThat · 17/07/2018 16:50

NibbleOnThat · 17/07/2018 16:51

Fintress · 17/07/2018 18:10

Can you fit a bottle of water in the side pocket? I'm considering the Re-Kånken.

NibbleOnThat · 17/07/2018 18:12

Side pocket on mine could possibly fit a water bottle, tall slim one perhaps?

It’s the laptop bag I bought.

wrimad · 17/07/2018 18:13

They are brilliant ( the genuine ones) except when they need a clean. They seem to get random white marks - anyone know how to get rid of them?

WigglyBlossom · 17/07/2018 18:15

Yes you can.

sonlypuppyfat · 17/07/2018 18:16

Both DDs bought fakes from Camden market they've been great. No fabric bag is worth 80 quid

glueandstick · 18/07/2018 15:47

You can’t get a regular bottle of water in the side pocket. I’ve actually sent mine back today as the stitching around the straps has come undone and the zip is falling out after 9 weeks of use.

I wanted to love it but I just can’t.

P3onyPenny · 18/07/2018 15:59

Smash bottles fit.

They're not worth £80.

I hear you re everything falling out as they zip to the bottom.

Fintress · 19/07/2018 08:37

I've decided not to bu one as
