I confess, this made me giggle a bit this morning - poor Angela has such bad luck, first the impersonation, then this!

I’ve just searched and found that the original poster has had her posts deleted, so although the thread exists, it’s gone 😢

Essentially, an MNer was giving an important work presentation, and had a mind fart, so introduced herself as Angela Hernandez (this was not her name!). At which point the real AH stood up and said “no, I’m Angela Hernandez” and the OP wished for death.

And MNHQ used to wheel out poor Angela every April Fool's Day for a number of years, but I think they retired her this year!!

I saw that story about the poor woman in the report that the OP is referring to and immediately thought of Mumsnet, even though I didn't see the original AH thread before the original post was deleted.

Thanks to Rock for explaining Angela Hernandez for those of us who were in the dark.
