To be freaked out by the lack of rain?

Every few days it’s the same. The air feels heavy like it might, just maybe, rain. Clouds form. Rain’s on its way! Today might be the day!

Then the clouds pass over again and it’s back to weird dusty heavy warmth. It’s like having really unsatisfying sex. It’s really putting me on edge.

Don’t you all be telling me it’s rained round your way today!!

There has been heavy rain about 2 miles away twice in last few days but it keeps missing us. We have only had a few spots of rain in weeks. Its getting really weird.

In Surrey everything is dead and brown. It hasn't rained for weeks and weeks. I hate it. I love a bit of rain. The air is all dirty with pollution too.

I'm in the NW where the hell are you all to have rain and thunder?! Liverpool just has dead heat and me lying naked on my bed wanting to vomit with the close weather.

Feels like about 2-3 months since we had any rain. I'm so fed up hearing people at work talking about how wonderful it is...then in 3 months time they'll be moaning if food prices go up due to increased costs for the farmers. I saw a farmer on the One Show saying that he's having to feed his animals on the food he'd stored for the winter as there's no grass in the fields, so now he's going to have to buy more feed for the winter. It's sad, and not normal...and still I see people using sprinklers on their lawns on the afternoon school run.

Yes, I know, I sound like a miserable git but I'm not really .

Thunder and heavy rain for the last half hour or so here in north London

No rain here for weeks. I am desperate for the feel and smell of it. There seem to be heavy showers within miles of us but nothing here yet. I so hope we get some tonight.

I’m in Manchester and it rained last night, this morning and it’s been raining again for a little bit now. It’s meant to be dry all weekend again (fingers crossed) and then rain again next week!
