Hi posting really for traffic but suppose it could be even " is surgeon being unreasonable?"

My 4 year old has lots of gallstones. Recently she has been having belly aches and shoulder pain, increase " reflux" increased gas.
She is up all night in pain but hasn't had what they call a full attack.
She had a MRI which showed gallbladder has now become distended.
Her main consultant ( gastro ) wanted it out before it got to the point of emergency.
The surgeon point blank refuses saying that there is no evidence to say her symptoms are from the gallstones.
He will remove it when it becomes a problem.
Gastro say we should take it out ans not out her through all that which will most likely happen.
Surgeon Says well no surgery just based on a might !
She is so uncomfy most nights.

Anyone have any experience could those symptoms be the gall bladder ? Is the gastro being to forward or the surgeon to dismissive ?
