Day 10 of being ill + cat + day off

On 3rd lot of consecutive antibiotics for a really nasty sinus infection. I am back in my home country (England) for a few weeks to help look after my parents business and look after my cats whilst they go away on holiday.

The infection has been awful, my sinuses have made my teeth hurt to the point where I haven't been eating or sleeping and my nasal passages have completely swollen shut.

First day where I haven't been constantly woken up by toothache in the night and actually think I could chew.

WIBU to spend the day in bed with my lovely cuddly cat and order myself a curry? I can't get a decent one in tel Aviv for love nor money so it would be a real treat, but I feel guilty for not being productive with my day.

Make a to do list.

1. clean pjs
2. order curry
3. load kindle/open book/watch Netflix
4. cuddle cat

Check all that off and you can say you've been very productive. Enjoy!

Lol noway are you being unreasonable, it takes a lot less for me to decide I want to lazy day! If you are able to take some you-time without getting in anyone's way or letting anyone down then I say go for it! Plus having a nice chill day today might be just the trick to speed up your recovery a little bit, it sounds like you've had an awful time of it! Look after yourself and enjoy the cuddles and curry

Thanks! I do have a few things to do around the house and garden but just really cannot force myself to do it. Although I am going to now have to go outside as my other cat decided to be very clever and bring me a present 😓
