Kids are finally in bed after a whiny day. DH is happily watching TV. Everyone has had dinner. I just can't be bothered to do anything- go for a walk, sit with DH, go in the garden, see what my friend round the corner is doing. I just want to lie under the cooling breeze of my fan with the curtains drawn. Exciting Saturday night!

I’m doing it right now except my kids are not in bed and I’ve done fuck all else all day. I also don’t give two shits, DP is happy with them downstairs so I’m not moving.

Top tip - usb powered desk fan. Small, quiet, not a gale, just a lovely breeze.

Also those cool towel things that you get wet then drape round your neck. V nice.

And squirty spray with water.
