Will the vows be over by 4? Go to the vows then watch the Football then rejoin the party? To be honest I think vow renewals are generally just attention seeking anyway.

If England are in the final, people WILL find a TV or have in on their phones. It's absolutely inevitable.

It's such a shame for folks who have events at this time, but I feel the only option is to embrace it as part of the day, not fight it.

I am away in another country this weekend. I picked a 9.30am flight home (very short haul) on Sunday so I'd be back in time for the match.

Oof. A vow renewal, not even a wedding itself? There's going to be a high drop out rate if England do end up in the final.

We had awards do the day of one of England's group matches when it didn't matter if they won or lost but we ended up putting it on the screens after because everyone wanted to watch it. I feel sorry for anyone getting married this weekend. If England get through it'll be a memorable day but if they lose you'll have unhappy guests!

Anyway.... Belgium v France first. A semi final to enjoy without ridiculous nervousness.

I hope it is as good a game as it threatens to be. Two managers that have something still to prove to everyone. Two supremely talented squads.

Can Kante stop Dr Bruyne. Can the French defence handle Lukaku? Can the Belgian defence handle Mbappe?

Not long to go til kick off. Really hard to predict a winner, both teams full of excellent players. Think I'm going to go for France to just edge it but I'm expecting an exciting match regardless.

Fruitandbarley- you have my sympathies, what a decision! I think they're going to have to compromise somehow if England get into the final, otherwise they'll have a very low number of guests!
