It's fine downstairs and outside, now, but just had to cool ds1's room down as it was still 27.5 in there.

Sweating in Wales. It’s 27 degrees in the house, too hot to take ds out or even get him dressed - he’s covered in heat rash even though he’s just been in a nappy for the past few days. He has his 1 year vaccinations scheduled tomorrow and I’m contemplating postponing it for a week or so in the hopes that it cools down

Brighton 32 degrees today, little sun at times, just humid heat. Fan in every room. The heat is quite debilitating but keep reminding myself that we had a long oppressive winter and it'll soon cool down again.

Near Cambridge it's been 31 today, but is now 21. I'm sitting on the patio in my PJs after a nice shower, drinking a glass of wine, and listening to the folk fiddles rehearsal from the pub over the road. Quite close to perfect :)
We also have WiFi in the garden (thanks DH)

In my classroom it was 36 degrees on Friday!

Not liking the sound of some of these temps. Sweet not cut out for heat in this country I dont think, it's cold for too much of the year.

The year DD was born (2003) we had the hottest day on record, 37.8 degrees. I had a 2 year old and a new born and we all just stuck to each other.

It's fucking hot here!

I work on an older people's mental health ward that was hotter than hell today and trying to get older people to drink enough for this heat is tricky.

SE London/Kent and little 23°C here but was much hotter in the daytime and humid too. We spent almost all of it in the paddling pool apart from mealtimes and the children's naptime, which DH and I joined in enthusiastically, so quite a nice day really. We also had ice lollies.

Please, anyone in cooler areas, do a raindance for us.

I sat on the Harbour Arm in Folkestone. Bit of a breeze so sunny, cool and breezy. If you got out of the breeze it was a furnace.

Now sat in the garden - it's 23 degrees apparently and lovely.

I painted my london flat bathroom in the summer of 2003. In my underwear sweating. The paint was drying on the brush almost before I could get it on the wall.

Hellish.

I think it got to about 31 here earlier. Online it says it's currently 21 but it feels hotter than that tbh. I love the heat and have been in bliss the last week or so, but today it felt different, somehow heavier. Maybe it's just the accumulated days of heat and sun and no rain.

23 here now. My house doesn't get too hot (very well insulated bungalow) so I'm fine at night and really enjoying the heat during the day :)

My front room reached 29 earlier today, and it was hotter outside so I have no idea just how hot it was out there. It's now a balmy 24 in the front room, and slightly cooler outside (not much cooler though).
It's still almost daylight though, not quite light but not dark either. Fed up of only 2 hours ish of proper dark.

My baby monitor says 29°, outside is apparently still 23° my upstairs is so so hot almost unbearable. Yesterday it was 82° in my garden at 4.30 in the afternoon, today was slightly cooler at 79°. I'm in north west. And we NEVER get weather like this !!

19 degrees and pissing down at 630 am. I am in bed with the electric blanket on and the cat. I hate winter bring on the summer! My favourite temp is around 35, but to be fair 35 here is glorious here but I know would be unbearable in the UK.

It was hotter than this, but then it stormed, and cooled down a little. 87f is about 30c
