To want to shave (not wax) my bikini line?

I hate being waxed or doing it myself and hair remover creams are such a faff. I 'd love to just be able to shave it every couple of days and be fine with it but always end up with hideous red bumps.

Other women seem to do this - or even shave the whole lot - so what am I doing wrong?

I find it’s fine to shave underneath but not at the front Confused.

Shave in the direction of hair growth, not against, and use a soothing cream afterwards. An electric razor works best

Literally just the bikini line - sides where you could see it in bikini bottoms.

I use conditioner (obviously don't get it in your actual bits) to make the area really soft and move with the hair. Then I kind of pull at the skin to get more to the roots. Are you using a good razor?

I bought a special shave gel by Femfresh but it doesn't seem to have made much difference. Will try pulling the skin taut and conditioner. Thanks.

I used to have problems with this. There were a view things that helped.

I switched to using a safety razor which gave me less bumps, I guess because it's sharper and you can change the blades regularly.

I started making sure I was pulling the skin taut when I shaved.

Plus I think you just have to keep shaving it. I know that if i stop for a bit and then start again it's red and uncomfortable. But if I just keep having it's fine

It's your hair type. It will never be different and will always ingrow. Even if you waxed often it would do the same. Trim it with a ladyshave dont actually shave it smooth.
