I can’t deal with more pens. I think it will be quite an evenly matched game IF both teams show up. If we get the England of today and the Sweden of today we’ll win. I think we’ll both be on top though and it’ll be a hard slog!

I've just realised I'm going out friday night. I'll have to get through the game on saturday with a hangover.

A deserved eventual win for England. Colombia were just taking the piss before Kane's pen during the game, it put a real sour taste in my mouth.

Am I the only one who thinks Vardy was shit? Especially in extra time he was getting the ball, taking it too wide and too far and just wasting it.

My prediction is we beat Sweden then lose to Croatia. Of course I hope I'm wrong.

If Croatia play the way the did against Denmark, then we'll be pretty evenly matched.

That was soooo nerve racking. But either I was outwardly calmer than inwardly or my cat has finally learned to live with football as he merely opened one eye when I cheered when they missed.

We are flying out to France at godawful o'clock so couldn't even drink but are now having a pint at the airport to celebrate. At 5 in the morning.

We'll watch France v Uruguay in France - should be fun! Oh and whoever said there's only Brazil and France who are decent - I would add Uruguay and Belgium to that - but all in the other half of the draw!

Think the weakness at the moment seems to be goals from open play. A lot have come from set pieces or the penalties we've got. Not that anything wrong with that just it doesn't always work.

I thought Vardy was ok, he put some urgency back into the game but he was left stranded a bit surrounded by 4 to 5 Colombians.
