So I was underweight as a young one and always vomiting and the humans put me on a special diet.

My doctor gave me a jab yesterday and told me to lose a kilo or two. The humans agreed, but I really think I'm just cuddly.

Am I in denial? How can I get my bikini body back?

Yours,
Biscuit

My cat is from Turloughmore.
Are you neighbours?

TheCatOfAthenry · 30/06/2018 20:51

We must be!

You can do what I did. Eat whatever horrible starvation diet your humans give you, then call regularly on various neighbours - I recommend the 'pathetic orphan kitten' act - tiny little mew with one paw raised - and if you choose wisely - preferably people who, like giving dinner parties, you may well find plenty of high quality leftovers, incl. salmon and chicken.
Another thing I did - humans didn't find out for years! - was to visit next door neighbours first thing every morning, for a saucer of full cream milk - I never got any milk at all from the miserable humans in at home.

Sheldonoscopy · 30/06/2018 20:57

Nah. Seafood diet much more interesting. See food and eat it

LanaorAna2 · 30/06/2018 21:00

Are you doing photo modelling or the catwalk? If not, don't bother.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 30/06/2018 21:04

Biscuit - you are PURRFECT!

Ignore the humans - they are jealous!

Velvete · 30/06/2018 21:10

You look great to me.

Nothisispatrick · 30/06/2018 21:22

If you're fat, what am I?!

Don't worry, he meant your humans needs to lose a kilo or two not you, he was being polite I suspect don't you?. Grin The humans need more exercise by refilling your food don't they?

MexicanBob · 30/06/2018 21:25

Try getting more exercise. Only sleep for 21 hours a day rather than the full 23 and walk three times round the litter tray rather than just twice.

Tinkobell · 30/06/2018 21:29

You do look flat chested and in need of a good wax. Apart from that you've got curves in all the right places!

catandpanda · 30/06/2018 21:32

My cat has some top exercise tips that should ensure your humans don't put you on a diet again.

  1. Exercise paws by scratching every inch of carpet you can find, the more shredded you can get it the better.
  1. Dig up the bars holding carpet down.
  1. Exercise the mouth during the night, a yowl every half hour throughout the night is excellent.
  1. Exercise the legs by kicking your litter all around the house.
  1. Catch as many mice / birds etc as you can and leave them on your humans bed as bloody as possible.
OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 30/06/2018 21:36

I am fat. You have nothing to worry about. My human makes half-hearted attempts to diet me but with no success.

I have a slinky stepsister who has access to exactly the same resources and she is not fat, so I think this is just how I am made. I am fat. I own it. Embrace the fat.

You are absolutely beautifulSmile

Ethylred · 30/06/2018 23:43

Your humans should get you a better phone, that one's rubbish.

liverbird10 · 01/07/2018 01:28

You're Sexy And You Know It (look at that kitty, look at that kitty... etc)

SerenDippitty · 01/07/2018 07:40

You urgently need to address your problem, you know what you need to do. Feline obesity has become so normalised that no human knows what a normal cat looks like any more.

Pengggwn · 01/07/2018 07:57

Always listen if a vet says an animal is overweight. They are meant to be a lot thinner than we think they are, and cannot communicate to you if they are struggling with carrying extra weight in the heat, especially.

ButchyRestingFace · 01/07/2018 08:00

Never mind the doctor. You just stay too fat curvy to chase birds and small rodents.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 01/07/2018 08:15

Leroy is officially "not fat", his weight is slap bang in the middle of the normal range for his size.

Go figure.

Climbing the fridge is great for aerobic exercise, but you need to introduce some light weights for toning. Try learning to open the fridge door, that should provide just the right amount of resistance and you'll have a six pack in no time.
Then reward your hard work by eating the contents....

Alwayscommuting · 01/07/2018 09:25

Well! I went to the vets a few months ago as the humans wanted to enrol me in weight watchers! Now all she does is complain that my food is too expensive! She did not get the worse end of this deal!
She has started to put my biscuits in blue plastic balls that I have to chase around the floor? My mason cash bowls were perfectly fine! It's madness!

Yours Tigerlily
