To think I'm just curvy? Doctor says I'm fat. Pic included.

So I was underweight as a young one and always vomiting and the humans put me on a special diet.

My doctor gave me a jab yesterday and told me to lose a kilo or two. The humans agreed, but I really think I'm just cuddly.

Am I in denial? How can I get my bikini body back?

Yours,
Biscuit

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 30/06/2018 19:09

Just fluffy Grin

Lovely Biscuit. I have a black cat who the vet says isn't overweight but shouldn't really put on any more. His tabby sister is slim despite being a lot greedier Hmm

Fanciedachange1 · 30/06/2018 19:10

Biscuit! I wanted to call our dog biscuit but i was overruled :(

Saucery · 30/06/2018 19:12

Can you jump to the top of a 6ft fence? If not, then maybe cut back on the Dreamies.

I don't go outside. The human opens the door, so I hide behind the sofa and cry.

I can climb the fridge, though.

I'm afraid I can't see you well enough in the pic to comment on your voluptuousness - or otherwise - Biscuit, but judging by the angle of your ears, you are really put out by what's occurred.

I was put out. My sister Duck tried to gently wash me. So offensive! Not sure why I'm offended, but I know I am. Hsssssssss!

My other sister Cookie is so svelte. It makes me self conscious!

Not fat! Just fluffy! Grin

BlueThesaurusRex · 30/06/2018 19:19

My cat is not fat either. However, she has short legs and is very furry so it gives the appearance of extra-voluptuousness...

NutElla5x · 30/06/2018 19:21

I think you look purrfect just the way you are Biscuit.Who wants to cuddle a bag of bones?.......apart from maybe a stupid old dog.

LauderSyme · 30/06/2018 19:23

Giggling OMG! I had always figured photoshop.
What a hideous thought; dead or drugged cats being posed for photos in skimpy clothing! That would be grotesquely macabre. There are enough fucking weirdos out there though to make it a distinct possibility Shock

KoshaMangsho · 30/06/2018 19:23

I think in order to judge this one way or another we need a few more photographs.

KoshaCat is very irritated that my human has produced another one of those wailing things that lie on the mat all day and everyone marvels at them. This was bad enough but that thing is now on the move and they are constantly encouraging this movement by clapping loudly. There is no peace in this world.

AnnaMagnani · 30/06/2018 19:23

My cat Sugar was told she was fat. The fact I named her Sugar may have been a portent Blush

When I attempted to claim she ate too much the vet looked me straight in the eye and said 'No, you feed her too much'. And with that, Sugar and I slunk off and she lost 2kg BlushBlush

Saucery · 30/06/2018 19:27

Well, there you go, then. Couple of expeditions up the fridge a day and you can snack on the contents to your heart’s content.

TheCatOfAthenry · 30/06/2018 19:35

Thanks all. This has done wonders for my self-purrception.

By the way, my sisters would happily pose in any position wearing anything. I am, alas, less comeowpliant.

LTB. It's the only solution, OP.

Or tell him you are built for comfort not speed.

Halfblindbunny · 30/06/2018 19:38

Black is such a slimming colour you can get away with a few extra pounds.

gillybeanz · 30/06/2018 19:39

It's hard to tell really, but I do think we have lost sight of what is a normal body weight and size.
I usually weight myself against the range for my age and height.
If I'm mid to top end I'm happy, but obviously going over the range means you are over weight.
More than about 2 stone is obese.

gillybeanz · 30/06/2018 19:43

Is it not unhealthy and cruel to allow them to become over weight, can they still rat as well Grin

lololove · 30/06/2018 19:44

You are definitely perfect as you are! :)

My dog (sorry!) has a coat that makes her look fatter than she is as it's short but curly so sticks out all over the place not that she's skinny to start with to be fair... and the vets are sometimes surprised by her actual weight as they expected her to be heavier.

littlemissdynamite · 30/06/2018 19:45

Aww U look fine hun. Grin

How old are you?

If you're middle aged or past that (so like over 8 or 9) you are allowed to carry a BIT of extra weight.

That is a fact. Well, it's a BIT true - ish !
