Friday and colleagues decide to go buy breakfast from the canteen, ask if I want to go, I say no thanks I’m just going to have my shake.

Colleague replies “mmm nutritious”

Yes much more nutritious than the giant breakfast cob you’re going to stuff in your mouth.

I like a protein shake after the gym, I still eat 3 good meals each day.

Body shamer? She’s overweight. It’s a fact. If you think being overweight is shameful that’s your own issue.

She said she wanted to lose weight, talks about it all the time, posts on social media about it. So again I’m just stating what I’ve heard her say.

I’m never hungry. I eat close to 2000 calories a day.

Love how people equate me having a shake (and even me saying I don’t class this as meal) allows a majority to allude to me starving myself.

Why should I hide the fact I’m having a shake. I just said no I’m alright thanks, I’ve got my shake .... it was in my hand, I’d drank around half of it by then.

Some of you clearly are too sensitive about weight and are projecting that onto me.

Yes shes not using it against herself though is she.

Shes not making comments like (and yet again i shall quote you and your judgement to show how hypocritcal you are.)
Yes much more nutritious than the giant breakfast cob you’re going to stuff in your mouth

Your getting annoyed cos shes passed judgement on your food yet oh its ok for you to pass judgement on her food? Why? Because your soooooooooooooooooo healthy.

You then use her weight to defend your opinion of her.

Let me write your op.
On friday my collugue offered to me some of her proetin shake mixture, i said no as its friday i fancy treating myself and having a breakfast bap from the canteen. She replued with "well my shake is more nutririous than that bap your going to stuff in your mouth"
At least i get proper nutrients from proper food

It was just a weekly treat.

People would respond with the same wow petty and erm prehaps cut the weekly treat out ifvyour not loosing weight,

And it wouldnt be ok for her to go "oh just cos shes slim your taking her side"

You really do sound like youve got food issues but there we go

I stand by my original post because nothing you've said since has dissuaded me of the fact that you quite obviously have a difficult relationship with food and body image. To be fair to you, you allude to it yourself in your response to me where you say that you used to be overweight. I was kinder in my first post, however, than I would have been, had I known you were going to eyeroll and be huffy with people who are just responding to your OP. It's like you're actively looking for a fight or to be disliked, or lack any self-awareness. I am so sorry if this it too much psychoanalysis for you to bear, and I'm sure your eyes are rolling back, etc, but FGS, you posted in AIBU. And yes. YABBU. Grin

Explain and use what I’ve said on here to back up this claim
