Politicians can hand wring and say what a tragedy it is and how they are looking to get tougher with knife crime all they want but the fact is there are people out there who are quite happy to be sentenced to 8 years in prison (out in 4) to kill someone. It's not a big deal to them. We've seen hidden footage of prisoners messing around in prison, drinking and taking drugs. Of course it doesn't happen in all prisons, but it happens. Until life means life this is going to get worse and worse.
