Crop tops for sports clubs at primary school?

I have no idea if I'm being unreasonable.

Probably am.

But after schools sports and several girls in little bra crop tops and leggings/shorts.

Apart from the more skin to burn at this time of the year is it not really suitable school wear? (They don't wear school uniform sports stuff for after school clubs)

Are stomachs out really suitable? Same as I'd expect boys to keep t shirts on.

🙄

I'd say YABU. It's hot - if they've got sunscreen on there's no problem.

If they can do the sport in it not an issue.

geekone · 25/06/2018 17:16

YABVU those sport bra legging combos look fab on little girls. I am sure they have suitable sun cream too.
It’s really none of your business.

I wouldn't expect anyone to need to keep shirts on for most of primary school

Leicesterpiggott · 25/06/2018 18:12

They're kids. It's sportswear. It's hot. What's the problem? Do you think they'll attract the 'wrong sort of attention?'

Seriously? YABU, its the easiest and comfiest thing to exersize in especially in hot whether.
My daughters stomach isnt hurting anyone, so it will continue to be on show

totallyliterally · 25/06/2018 18:35

Personally I’m not keen, but I wouldn’t think anything of someone else’s DD wearing it. My DD hates them anyway, she says they look like bras and says she’s too wee for a bra (she’s 5). Probably because she knows I hate mine and can’t wait to get the feckin thing off!
