AIBU to ask if you have this duvet cover (desperate need for child)

Maybe you know about Little Blue Cup? They search for replacement special items (comforters, special toys, etc) for children and young adults with special needs/disabilities, on behalf of their parents/carers. They have a 3yo chap who really needs a duvet cover exactly the same as the one he has (the current one is worn out). Hoping photo has uploaded too. No luck finding one so far. Can anyone help ? It was from Gratton catalogue 10 to 15 years ago.

Some extra info from his mum -
“It's not the prettiest duvet and believe me I've tried every other duvet sheet in the world but it has to be this one. The camera hasn't shown it's true colours though. It's actually royal blue with gold details.

“It's actually a standard double size sheet but as mentioned before it could be single double or king size, even the pillowcase, it's the feeling the colours and texture that matter to him. It has poppers not buttons to close it, he plays with the poppers at night to soothe himself”

I've emailed a friend who has her own fabric made from photographs of flowers etc, so see if she can use photographs of this design to have fabric printed and then we can make duvets. It might not be possible to get a colour match... But if she can manage it, do you think that would work? Or will the texture be a problem? Is it cotton, or a blend?

Such a fantastic page. I have had a look through and wondered if the poster who needed the blue blanket with teddy/train on was still on there? If anyone could check for me please. I'm not on Facebook so I couldn't see the post properly! My son had that blanket, not sure if we still have it but I will search tomorrow if still needed

Hi Roci that is a lovely idea but texture is really important and I think the gold print must feel a certain way. I suspect it is polycotton but would need to check. Do have a chat with your friend though if you get a minute - you never know what clever things can be done and thank you!

PennyLane they did find a train/teddy blanket but if you have one I think it would be worth checking if they would like a spare. It really is a brilliant page and I think it must be a lifeline for some families - please do follow and share with your friends

Thanks will have a good look for it. I have spent ridiculous amounts on hunting down particular bottles that my son would only drink from in the past. This page is such a good idea! Will be sure to spread the word

Could you get someone to make him a teddy from the fabric, with some sort of coat using the poppers he likes?
