AIBU to ask if anyone here got pregnant using the withdrawal method (especially if your DH/DP successfully withdrew every time)

To clarify this is not because I am considering this a valid method of contraception, but because a colleague stated it was impossible to fall pregnant if you “correctly executed it”

Several of my friends have been caught by surprise by the failure of the “withdrawal method”, also known as “not actually using contraception”.

As I mentioned in my post because hormonal contraception can have negative side effects. So I think that's why people use it.

In my experience it doesn't mean the man doesn't have an orgasm jus not in your vagina. I do think you've got to make a bit of effort to make it still intimate.

Four years of success, but after that one surprise pregnancy that really shouldn't have been a surprise, considering withdrawal is not an actual method of contraception.

You can have non hormonal ones though which actually work and are reliable, such as the copper coil...

Used withdrawal for 5 years haven't got pregnant only got preg with DD one time he didn't withdraw which was nearly 6 years ago.
