AIBU to think having photos taken is annoying

Don't get me wrong, I don't have an issue having photos done but when it's constant that's when it grinds my gears! When I am out with my DH and friends, all they ever do is take photos of each other, especially selfies! When walking, they do it and then I'm having to stop every 2 mins to have a photo taken! When I'm trying to get shopping "come here let's have a photo".

I just think FFS please just put your F'ing phone away and leave me alone! Shock When I'm trying to eat lunch, my DH just moves my plate away for a photo... honestly now I know why I'm an introvert! I know it's for memory purposes but having it taken every 2 seconds! Surely that's not needed?!

I completely agree with you. Also hate it when the same people then spend the entire meet-up posting the pics to social media and claiming to have an amazing time, whilst essentially ignoring the people they are actually there with. I've distanced myself from people who do this as I think it's rude and boring .

Reminds me of something I saw last week, there was a group of 6 young women out for lunch 2 of whom were on their phones a lot, one got the friend each side of her to look up and take a selfie then their smiles instantly vanished and they got back to checking their phones/ reading menus.

No doubt the smiling photo was posted to social media making it look like they were having a great laugh at lunch when in fact they were sat around hardly taking to each other.
