to wonder how mainstream/representative Mumsnet members social and political views are?

I get the impression that Mumsnet is quite left-wing, both politically and socially. I am wondering if people here think it is a good reflection of the opinions found in society at large? The circles I move in do replicate the general opinions I see here (mostly left wing) but I am wondering if this is true of other posters or if this is a microcosm of it being more London and middle class centric?

I would say Mumsnet is actually quite centrist. Maybe it skews a little towards the centre-left but it's certainly not fullblown Corbynista.
