To think it's a bit odd to send Father's Day card from boyfriend as well?

Just wondering if you would send a Father's Day card (or Mother's Day) from your DP as well as yourself?

DH received a card signed from DD to Dad and from her DP addressed to Christian name, and signed by both.

We are not particularly close to him, so it's not as though he sees us as parent figures, I don't think. It just appears a bit odd, or AIBU?

I always put my DHs name on fathers day and Mother's Day cards. I put the dogs name on them too! We have been married for 33 years and he has always been closer to my parents than to his own. I have no idea what he writes on the cards he sends in such occasions. I must ask him.

My xmil was always offended I refused to have my name on her MD cards. She was also offended dd didn't get her one.
Personally I find it weird when people hijack other people's family!

Always from both of us (same card). TBH, he's been part of the family for so long, I think they think he is blood! My brothers do.
