To ask what you got on NHS band 7 maternity pay

I'm at the bottom in the band at the moment. I will qualify for the occupational maternity pay. I know it's complicated by the recent pay increase but it would be really helpful to get some idea if possible.

I took 12 months off, payroll calculated my pay and divided it over the 12 months so that it was the same each month, was about £800 pcm, I was part time and worked 9-5pm in my band 7 role, it very much depends on lots of things.

Do you get enhancement pay? It gets calculated on what you earn between 17-25 weeks so you can bump it up by doing bank. I've asked for my payments to be split over the year, my HR person has emailed me with a rough guide to what I would get each month

I'm in the upper band 6, no evenings or weekends.
It all depends on his LO g you are having off.
Not sure if different trusts vary.
I get 8 weeks full pay, 16 weeks half pay plus smp, then 12 weeks (I think) smp.
So roughly I will get around 10,000 for the 9ish months.
I plan to be off on mat leave 11 months though and will ask payroll to even it out over the months I am off. Will use a bit of AL before I go back too .
