AIBU to be anxious at the thought of flying alone with 2 small children?

Tbf I’m not a great flyer anyway & find the whole thing a bit stressful. Kids are 1.5 & just turned 4 & it’s just to France so short. On the plus side 4 yo has flown loads before & is very sensible. I’m worried about the 1.5 who is a little strong willed & temperamental, he’s also still in nappies & massive so unsure how I will change him if necessary. He’s also a fully paid member of the poohnami club. How will I navigate the pram & luggage? security?

Any tips much appreciated.

it is not far away, I think you can do it.
you can change the nappy at the start so your dc wont need a change later. try not to give much drinks to both so you wont need toilets.
u can take some crayons and books and stuff with you, maybe some electronics. and some snacks.
move earlier so you wont be in any panic.
have a nice journey. xx

Be as relaxed as possible, little ones pick up on your stress. Let the 4 year old do what s/he needs to stay calm, iPad etc, then you can focus on the little one. Be prepared with books and toys (and a small ball to chase at the airports). And lots of snacks. Give yourself lots of time and you'll find airport and airline staff helpful. I've done UK to NZ with 2 the same ages and if you're well prepared and not rushing, it'll be waaaayyyy easier than you imagine.
