Outside You don't know if Ant's PR team traded the PA story to keep another negative story out of the press eg if the PA's ex was shopping around a story about Ant stealing his wife then Ant's team might have decided it was better to control the narrative.

My exh first girlfriend after we split was my former friend.

We split in the September but were still living together in separate rooms. I had met DP and then my exh threw me out the day before my 30th and went on a date with ex friend on my 30th.

That was fun. However as I'd already met DP I couldn't really say anything about it.

Don't be so disingenuous. There's nothing wrong with being plain, ordinary, middle aged - that's the point but there are plenty of people on here using those words as an insult. If she were fat and people were saying, I'm surprised he's with her given that she's fat, it may well be true but I bet you wouldn't try and defend those comments.

I think that too josboys. There was a popbitch story this week that wasn't gossip but pointed out that ITV rely so heavily on Ant n Dec that any bad press for them can have a massive negative effect on their share price. The Daily Mail has shares in ITV. The trashy mags and showbiz tabloids rely on ITV programmes like Love Island and IACGMOOH to fill their pages. They would either be very willing to print pr fluff in favour of Ant and badmouthing the wife or would be open to threats of no more stories from ITV if they published anything that could damage the brand.I suspect the relationship was the reason for the split.

I think she was the one that to Australia with him last year. I don’t believe he would leave Lisa without a woman in place, just like most men who leave their wives. I found it amusing there is an article about how him and Dec wear the same watches, live nearby, have matching hoilday houses in the same holiday spot. They work together, now Ant is dating a PR just like Dec’s wife, and like Dec’s wife, works at the same agency and what is really creepy, looks just like her. How does Dec not feel bothered about his best mate dating someone that is a clone of the wife? Ant and Dec are like bloody Siamese twins! I think he has bigger issues than just booze and pain killers...

I’m just confused as to why there doesn’t seem to be any other “talent” capable of presenting a prime time show.

I think they can't take the risk developing new talent so just either poach talent from the BBC with the promise of huge pay packets or find a few people that they think are guaranteed ratings winners, then have to pay them huge golden handcuffs deals. They then have to have them on everything because they can't afford anyone else.
