I don't get all this adulation and sympathy for him.

If he was Joe Bloggs the plummer from down the road be would have been slated to high heaven.

I am sick to death hearing so much about the pair of them. It is a complete mystery to me how these two have made millions by being so very average. In my opinion, his wife is well rid of him. His PA is probably half thinking about her own position and knows he has a few quid. If his current situation stablilises she will be all right. Does she have a better offer? Anyway i think his "career" is tainted and his mate has dumped him and moved on to salvage his "career".

I thought when you did rehab you were discouraged from starting a new relationship for at least 12 months afterwards?

If it is a 'new' relationship. I hardly doubt it if he is spending time with her children already.

Have never watched them perform, either. Hate that sort of stuff. However, it is difficult to avoid seeing them pop up everywhere with irritating frequency.

It’s nice to see that he’s moved on with someone else after the bad year he’s had and wasn’t it her who asked him for a divorce last year it was after they split up that he went really down hill.

I thought if you were in AA or recovery you shouldn't have a new relationship. The alcoholism can't be a new thing, so I expect the marriage failed like it does for any partner of an addict.
I do feel sad for Lisa as I think it's a bit of a kick in the teeth that as soon as he starts dealing with his addiction he dumps her for a new model.

Both Dec's wife and the new PA are quite homely and ordinary. Ant and Dec seem to like mother figures. If you actually look at pictures of Lisa pre the drugs/drink stuff she was far more attractive than this new one.
