To want to stop this (more kids than seats)

So there's a family at school who have 5 kids. They drive a 5 seater car at the moment. Mum and dad in the front. Baby in a car seat in the back. All 4 other kids (all under 135 cm) squashed in the remaining 2 seats in the back. No seat belts on.

She drives like a loon and the kids don't sit still. It is a terrible accident waiting to happen. Car is a newish range rover. They are not short of money. They have had a 7 seater previously.

We are not friends and she does not take kindly to criticism. I watched her tear off up the road this afternoon and my heart just lurched with fear. The kids had the windows down and were hanging out of them.

I know it's not my problem, but I would feel awful if something happened to the kids.

Is there anything I can do? Presumably she knows the risks and just disregards them.

I have reason for getting so wound up by this, as my cousin was killed by going through a windscreen when she was 5, (before back seat belts were compulsory). So I do accept my concerns are based on my family history.

I want to shake her and say "look after your children's safety you stupid cow", but clearly won't be doing that. It's against the law, but who would enforce it?

Despite my dislike of her, I don't want to get her into trouble, just to stop risking her children's lives...

Call the police with her number plate.

Get her registration and report to the police every time you see it!

Report her to the school, and ask them to intervene. Or phone the police non-emergency number and ask their advice.

I echo calling the police.

What disgusting excuse for "parents" to deliberately endanger their children this way.

Call 101
