Aibu? Flame me if you want but I think someone needs to tell Lauren Goodger to quit the fillers. I almost didn't recognise her in the news tonight, she's starting to look like Pete Burns. All that youth and natural beauty being ruined.

Lauren Goodger needs to quit the lip filler.

Christ.

LEMtheoriginal · 14/06/2018 22:48

YABU It's not jyst the lips is it? However I have no idea who she is

TheFishInThePot · 14/06/2018 22:51

Wow she's not even that old is she, she looks beyond her years a bit now. Shame.

Patienceisvirtuous · 14/06/2018 22:51

She’s the most narcissistic person in Essex!

Whatdoiladymcbeth · 14/06/2018 22:51

Fuck off.

Who the fuck are you to start a whole thread criticising how somebody looks? She might not look how you think she should but she’s still a person with feelings and insecurities that threads like this fuel. If you had a daughter and somebody started a thread ripping into her looks, I wonder how you would feel then. She is, obviously, in the public eye but that does not mean you can bully her.

Build your fellow woman up. Her body her choice extend to her aesthetic choices too.

MakeMineATwin · 14/06/2018 22:54

I agree op! Amy childs is another one who needs to stop with the fillers!

MizCracker · 14/06/2018 22:55

Sadly, sausage lips like that are becoming the norm and loads of girls aspire to look like that. Depressing, I know.

TattyFrench · 14/06/2018 23:00

She looks awful! McBeth criticising someone for blowing their lips to the size of a lilo is different to criticising someone for their natural look. I've no idea who she is but if my daughter started inflating her lips to look like pillows I would tell her she looked ridiculous.

wowbutter · 14/06/2018 23:03

@Whatdoiladymcbeth if that was my daughter I'd try and help her self esteem so she didn't feel the need to mutliate herself in this way.
She's damaging her body and her face. I feel really sorry for her.

ShirleyPhallus · 14/06/2018 23:07

Build your fellow woman up

I hate this attitude. Just because we are all women it’s like we are in some special club where we all have to like and love and supple each other and the same things.

Lauren Goodger looks ridiculous, lip fillers and butt fillers, plus the amount she photoshops her own photos is ludicrous. I think it’s good to call women out who do this - how can anyone want to make them role models for our children? People with no discernible talent but plastic faces and bodies who try and mislead the public through selling things through utterly false advertising. It’s all very depressing that people are famous this way now.

Laurenslipshavtheirownpostcode · 14/06/2018 23:07

Well Whatdo I'll stick my neck out & say she must be suffering from low self esteem to do this to herself and for that I do feel sad. Her behaviour though and numerous DM 'photo shoots' deliberately puts her in the public eye and for that I do have a right to comment on her appearance - she invites it. I don't think she makes a healthy role model for younger more impressionable girls. Why not embrace her natural beauty?

Fluffyears · 14/06/2018 23:09

She’s actually naturally pretty so this stuff is making her look terrible. She is hiding her natural beauty.

KC225 · 14/06/2018 23:10

Like the eyebrows - great arch

Laurenslipshavtheirownpostcode · 14/06/2018 23:16

Is it possible to have injectible butt-fillers removed? Hmm Does it dissolve over time or are you stuck with it for life?

OP posts:
Unfinishedkitchen · 14/06/2018 23:17

She’s genuinely very pretty and doesn’t need this much make up or work done. Shes actually paying money to look worse. It’s nonsensical. She’s clearly insecure and being on TOWIE made it worse.

Whatdoiladymcbeth · 14/06/2018 23:27

Exactly Butter, you’d see your daughter had self-esteem issues. So, surely, you can see she has self esteem issues too and doesn’t need a forum of women ripping into her.

Phallus, I see your point. When I say build your fellow woman up, I don’t mean that we have to condone her choices (not that we’re able to anyway) or support everything that she does. But I do mean that we should see her as somebody who has bowed to the pressure of beauty standards and instead of taking blows at her for doing so we need create an environment where she does not feel the needs to take her looks to the extremes via cosmetic surgery. Offering kindness as opposed to criticism is surely a better way.

Plenty of people who are famous are not good role models, for various reasons. Being famous does not suddenly mean they are virtuous and should be followed.

Can you not see it’s all a part of the same culture that your bashing is helping to perpetuate?

pieceofpurplesky · 14/06/2018 23:43

We were talking in work today about how everyone is perfect these days and live an Instagram style life. Perfect teeth, hair, boobs, skin ... the world is very shallow this came from our daily love island discussion

We have young girls coming in to school with so much highlighter and contouring that they look like cartoons, eyebrows are drawn on and many have hair extensions.

The young lady above looks really pretty but her lips are weird. I really worry what this generation will be like in the future ... it is really sad that they want to change themselves
