To not expect a footspa to do this.......

I decided to have a footspa this evening, it's been a really rotten and long day, and I thought I'd make it extra special and put some luxurious bath bubbles in. I fell asleep for a little while accidently with it on, and woke up to my husband just arriving home from work, laughing his head off at me and a mountain of bubbles halfway across the room!!!!! He seems to think this was an obvious outcome (!). I'm not utterly stupid am I? Not expecting this, and it's an absolute bugger to clean up! I suppose my (lighthearted of course) aibu is if anyone else would think to do this??

It wouldn’t occur to me, no, although I bet instructions are very clear about it! I once put washing up liquid in a dishwasher with very similar effects...

Thats what i would have expected to happen with bubbles + footspa...

That’s why we don’t put bubble bath in a foot spa!

I didn’t know that either but I once used one at work for the kids at was told to dip my pinky nail in the bubble bath and use only that amount.

Obviously I though that was silly and just poured some in....whoops

I did it once too only in a Jacuzzi bath in a hotel? You're not alone OP x

My DH put bubble bath in the spa bath on our wedding night. Foamy carnage.

Bubble bath and foot spa don't mix. I'm pretty sure on that instructions on the one at work said not to use bubble bath
