Is this like your usual pyjama outfit, or do I look like a mis-matched mess? (Pic)

I'm comfy. Then I catch sight of myself - I'm all for clashing patterns, but I need to lose DS1's old sliders at least. Maybe.

Is everyone else well turned out or am I on my own?

Sorry photo from above - scary! I'm not a triangle honestly!

Lol pretty much what I wear 😂

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 13/06/2018 21:33

If its pyjamas then who cares? I wear whatever ones are clean, mismatched tops and bottoms, they all go in the drawer and get worn as I pull them out. Can't say I've ever deliberated over what the ensemble looks like.

Bubbles safety in numbers!

If we're talking about scratty comfy stuff to wear round the house before I dress or go to bed then, yes, it's pretty similar to mine. I grab whatever top and bottom comes out first regardless of whether they match or not. It all comes off for bed though.

Snooks1971 · 13/06/2018 21:37

Mobile no I don't usually either, just caught sight of myself and actually thought arghh What The Hell Are You Wearing.

It's a very unimportant AIBU Grin

That's quite a trippy outfit. It's hard to know where the floor ends and your legs start. Grin
Ok for home but a bit eccentric for a hospital stay or something?

WineAndTiramisu · 13/06/2018 21:39

Nope, has to be matching here (even if no one will see me!)

I particularly like the socks & sliders combo. Nowt worse than cold feet.

Snooks1971 · 13/06/2018 21:40

Pascha yes same here.

Sliders are achingly trendy at the moment so extra points in the footwear category.

Hopskipjumping · 13/06/2018 21:41

Yes exactly the way I look every evening. I honestly wonder how I still have a man.

liz70 · 13/06/2018 21:42

I tend to wear plain colour vest tops with a tendency to get bleach splashes on them with patterned jimjam bottoms. Too hot for jams atm though, so I'm in nighties. Pink with small flower pattern. I would love some trad Victorian style cotton gowns, but can't justify the expense. Upcoming holiday is costing around £3200 (16 days in northern Spain bookended by 24 hour cruise ferry there and back, for 5 people (could be 6 in total)). So my dream of resembling The Woman In White will have to wait.

AnnieAnoniMouser · 13/06/2018 21:42

I could post a picture of what I wear to bed, but I’m wary of scaring you for life 🤣. It’s my bestest birthday suit, but past it’s ‘best before’.

Black leggings & a big t shirt around the house. Meh. Soon removed by interested parties - doesn’t appear to hamper enthusiasm 😁

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 13/06/2018 21:42

Mirrivan I hate to say this but you're letting yourself go love.

OkMaybeNot · 13/06/2018 21:44

The trick is to buy black everything

And then it's just a case of mismatching shades of black...

I wear little soft shorts, soft cup sports bras and tight vests. So unbelievably comfortable and still sort of sexy in an American 20-something type way.

I’d wear gym kit all day every day if I could

MeyYael · 13/06/2018 21:45

I don't see the issue...

The only problem I have is that we occasionally get unanounced visitors, letters I have to sign for etc... So I try to at least have a 'pretty' robe lying around... Wink

But it was so hot these last two days... I mostly wore shorts and a sports bra when I was home, tbh.

amyddss · 13/06/2018 21:45

Doesn't matter what you wear in the house haha. My usual get up usually consists of mismatched socks, jogging trousers, a pyjama top and my dp's green and blue tartan dressing gown lol!

I wear either a nightie or t shirt with pj bottoms, big knickers and an old maternity bra for dosing around the house. I sleep in the nightie and knicks then put the bottoms and bra back on in the morning.

I don't care.

JaretsGirlfren · 13/06/2018 21:58

I live in DPs Fatal tee shirt and his ancient beer bottle print pj bottoms. He’s a strapping 6’5 and I’m all of 5’0. It is my favourite outfit in the world but I’m constantly getting my feet caught up in the bottoms and tripping up!

Troels · 13/06/2018 22:07

Noting seems to match for bed here either for me or Dd, just so long as it's clean I'll wear it. Dd came down earlier and she had a navy short nightie and some patterned cropped jammie bottoms, Not her best look.
