YABU

Ditch the fruit.

Just eat ice cream.

Then YANBU.

Greenglassteacup · 13/06/2018 16:51

Go for it

Katescurios · 13/06/2018 16:53

Combine the two and have a thick strawberry milkshake with real strawberries.

Tangled59 · 13/06/2018 16:56

Depends on your weight tbh

Elspeth12345 · 13/06/2018 16:58

If you eat 1500-2000 calories worth of fruit and ice cream you will be consuming:

  • Plenty of protein from the milk!
  • Plenty of carbohydrate from the sugar
  • Lots of vitamins/minerals from the fruit

Go for it!

SoyDora · 13/06/2018 17:00

Depends on your weight tbh

Why? One day of fruit and ice cream isn’t going to make any different in the grand scheme of things.

SoyDora · 13/06/2018 17:00

*difference

MrsMozart · 13/06/2018 17:00

Now I want fresh peach slices and a good vanilla ice-cream...

Damn this site!

Sortofcool · 13/06/2018 17:00

Go for it.

Nellyphants · 13/06/2018 17:02

I want strawberries & cream. Go for it

Tangled59 · 13/06/2018 17:03

@SoyDora
Yes it does make a difference.
Anyway, what if tomorrow she only fancies burgers?
And the day after that shes only in the mood for crisps and cheese?

DamsonOnThisDress · 13/06/2018 17:03

Not at all unreasonable. Sounds great.

I assume by fruit you mean Flakes. Do it.

catandpanda · 13/06/2018 17:05

YABU unless I'm allowed to do it too Grin

chocomomma · 13/06/2018 17:05

and so what if tommorow she fanices burgers, so on? i think in 2018 we should 100% be aloud to eat what we want, i defo do! i love snack stuff more than anything, nobody stops me. why should you be the judge of what she eats??

SoyDora · 13/06/2018 17:05

Anyway, what if tomorrow she only fancies burgers?
And the day after that shes only in the mood for crisps and cheese?

Then that would be her choice, wouldn’t it? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Has the OP said anywhere that she is overweight? Or even if she is, that she is unhappy being overweight and wants to lose any?

Raven88 · 13/06/2018 17:07

If that's what you fancy then why not. I am calorie counting right now but still think we have to be bad sometimes :)

catandpanda · 13/06/2018 17:10

How much fruit and ice cream are we talking here?

1 banana split, or 6 banana splits and 3 poire belle helene's?

SilverySurfer · 13/06/2018 17:10

Since I am currently eating a bowl of strawberries and Haagen Das Dulche de Leche ice cream, there's no way YABU Grin

alligatorsmile · 13/06/2018 17:13

only if I can have crisps and wine for dinner. I mean, that's fruit-based isn't it? And I can easily have 5 a day.

LanguidLobster · 13/06/2018 17:15

I do need to put on half a stone, hadn't thought of the ice cream in that way!

I'm not usually faddy, promise.

There are 3 doughnut peaches, grapes, vanilla ice cream, need to buy strawberries

I may or may not have just eaten half a big bar of Dairy Milk... you inspired me, OP! I feel great now that I'm caffeined-up and showered! Onwards with the junk food movement!

LanguidLobster · 13/06/2018 20:44

Haha @yawning801...well it's protein!

Actually I had a 'standard' tea of pasta and salad after gorging myself silly on fruit and clotted cream ice cream earlier, must have been the weather

Elspeth12345 · 14/06/2018 23:00

Even if you didn't need to put on weight OP 1500 calories of fruit and ice cream is not different to 1500 calories of anything else!

But given that you need to put on weight then lots of ice cream sounds like a great idea!
