To think showing loud videos on your phone in restaurants is so rude?

We were wondering where the wailing baby was in a restaurant we were having lunch in yesterday, as we couldn't see any around. Then we realised that it was a woman at another table showing her two friends a loud video of her toddler several times. It went on for at least five minutes.

AIBU to think that this was bloody inconsiderate and people shouldn't she phone videos in restaurants unless they're turned down really low?

Or at all. I don't see the need really Hmm

Yes it's rude, just like when people watch videos without headphones on when riding in buses trains, and planes...probably boats as well.

I think it is rude to have your phone out in a restaurant full stop.
