To ask if it is better to book a September / October holiday now or a week or so before?

I want to go away to Greece, Turkey or Spain. The only stipulation I have is that I want to be near a nice town so we can eat out and go to the beach.

I have seen some good deals on the TUI site for very last minute holidays but would this still be the same in Sept / Oct as this time seems to be quite busy?

Any travel experts out there at all?

I never dare risk last minute holidays
I’ve just booked a sept/Oct holiday and got a great deal but I don’t do packages just decide where I’m going and book accommodation and flights separately
3 of us are going for 2 weeks to Lanzarote For just over £1000

Last year went to Dalyan in Turkey for similar price

Thank you. We don't really mind where we go and probably will book separately like you have. I guess I was asking Because the tui site includes transfers and baggage so when you factor that in the prices are pretty good. Which site do you use? I often use Love Holidays but am open to other suggestions too Smile
