Ok so baby 1 I lost all my weight but was never the same shape. Baby 2 not lost the weight and now have what I call my "apron" of loose fat hanging down where my bump was. Has anyone lost the apron successfully? How???

(Ps yes I know not an AIBU but AIBU to ask if you know what I mean by apron?!)

@MuddlingThroughLife did you need to complete an NHS physio course before you qualified, and how long did you wait before they approved the surgery?

@stuckficks I'm the same, two under 19 months and can fit a fist through mine 😅

Same story here, tummy went straight back with Dc1, but dC2 is 8 weeks and I have what you are all describing as an apron 😭

I think having a 14 month gap has played a big part in that. I seriously need to hit the gym (she's says whilst her macaroni cheese Cooks in the oven 🤦‍♀️)

I had it after my 2nd. Got rid of it via surgery to fix the muscle separation and did Pilates 3x per week. Had a 3rd DC and it's back. I'm too busy to schedule the surgery again. My separation is about 3cm so a blitz of PT should fix it. I've lost 30lbs since having my 3rd and I've got 20lbs to go to get to my prepregnancy weight.

@mude I was told no amount of exercise would fix the problem which is why I was referred for the surgery.

I have 6 kids youngest 19 but I find if I cycle every day for about half an hour and do hills it does go. If I stop it comes back.
