To want people to buy my things on ebay?

Just a moan...

Nothing I'm selling is actually selling lately and it's starting to really depress me

I tried selling a gliding chair and footstool for almost £20 less than I paid for it because it's just not going to be wide enough for nursing the twins when they come, no one wanted it.

We've tried selling our car about 8 times, no one wants it, even though we get inundated with questions about it. and I've checked it is a fair price. We've even lowered it.

Our travel system is being watched but I'm sure that won't go either.

Sulking in Wales.

Same here. I bloody hate selling. I think I have a gene that makes me pay too much and feel guilty if I make a profit...but usually make a loss!

Me too. Taking a break from selling on ebay at the mo, although still buying . I read that it is a buyers' market.

FWIW, £20 less than what you paid does not sound like a sufficient discount to entice people to bid. I find that unless you sell really desirable items (eg specific designers), you will be lucky to get half of the buying price. Even then, you have to start with a low bidding price.
