Is it their wealth? Their good looks? Their success in their high profile careers? Their lavish homes in Berkshire, Italy and somewhere in America?

Or are they smug, sanctimonious, hypocritical and annoying?

IcedPurple has a point in one sense a she is a barrister of only 8 years call, regardless of her background before that it can't be said that she is anything other than junior counsel. Whether in the literal sense as she is not a QC or in the more colloquial sense meaning experience.

Having said that her UN experience clearly gives her a gravitas and competency that not all other barristers of 8 years call possess

I like her anyway. She is intelligent, accomplished and independent. I find her much more interesting than George I'm afraid.

I really don't get what's smug about them. They're wealthy, successful people who seem to be enjoying life. What's wrong with that?
