To ask.. What do you use a lot of in your home , that you think is more than others?

Ours is loo roll.
Omg. We go through one a day! I swear dp and ds eat it lol
Bearing in mind dp at work till six. DS at school till 3. I'm generally out most days with family and friends with the baby or groups.
I know certainly I don't use loads lol

The other thing washing powder! That's down to me tho and my excessive need to wash everything all the time..

And we switched to soap bars, too, because it was painful how quickly they went through shower gel PLUS all the plastic packaging was making me feel ugh about it.

Toothpaste seems to move quickly, too, but not complaining about that.

They are pretty cute cats! They can be saucy, but they are shelter cats , so they're forgiven a lot.

I use the clr for 24 hours to remover rust stains off the sea pottery, they do a full cold water rinse, then 24 in bleach water, to kill any algae or slimes as they discolour some of the whites.
Something that looks like a dirty white may actually be pastel pink or lavender.

I don't oil my glass, but in some of my work they get acrylic glaze.

That seens right to me too, I buy a pack of 9 loo rolls roughly monthly, 3 for each loo. We never run out and its just me and DH so I expect we use about 2 per week on average. I’m not at home much though Mon-Fri

Bleach. Three bottles a week.
Rice. I buy it in the 10kg sacks now.
Raspberries . Bloody expensive raspberries.
Cans of Coke Zero. My addiction im afraid.
But because I’m a bit OCD I never run out of anything!

I thought we used a lot of loo roll- there are 6 of us and we get through one a day. But it seems from some of the replies that we are using very little- I feel oddly cheered up by that!

Really? Our cleaner cleans weekly, we do sod all in between. Bottle of bleach easily lasts us 2 months. What do you need so much for?

Wine and Cigarettes.

theunsure we have a dog so have to bleach the floors, not that the dog wees or anything but obviously they can't take their shoes off! So every day a quick wash of the floors in the kitchen and bathroom, then daily the bathroom sinks & kitchen sink, shower cubicles and loos fairly frequently. I use a whole bottle on the wheelie bins every fortnight. Doesn't take long to use a bottle up!

Phone chargers - are the new tea spoons.

4 teens always screaming 'where is my charger, who took my charger' etc

Loo cleaner, seem to use get through a whole bottle faster than a week.
Milk usually 15 to 18 pints a week
Crisps (not worked out the culprits but we get through 3 or 4 packs of multi packs a week)
Eggs we buy trays of 30 and they go in a week

Kitchen roll. Rolls and rolls of kitchen roll.

Ha! We have 3 cats and a flock of bantams that like coming indoors....still don’t clean the floor in between cleaner coming unless we have guests-then I use steam mop.
But I knew we are not that fussy

Wild bird food. This week the greedy buggers have demolished two bags of mealworms, two fat blocks, a fat filled coconut, a bag of sultanas, black sunflower seeds and an apple.
In the house-Wensleydale cheese. Usually in big chunks being munched by dh.

Thank fuck someone else said gin. Don't need bleach when you have gin, dirt magically disappears.

There is only me and my partner here the majority of the time and although we have 3 loos we only tend to use one for loo roll activities and still we get through about 8 a week. I swear it's not me. Goddamn it he's using it for nefarious activities isn't he?! If only I had some zoflora...

A whole bottle of bleach to clean a bin?!
