To ask if anyone knows a charity or grant that can help

Dad is 75 and wants to get back into education by doing online courses (eventually leading to a degree). Mam uses a tablet mostly and he can't manage it because he has bad fingers but can manage a laptop.

Does anyone know of a charity or grant he can apply to to help him afford a laptop? Family funds are limited unfortunately and the local library closed ages ago.

Thank you

Our local age uk used to offer grants for things like that. Might be worth an ask?

If he has been involved with the forces ever, you could try the british legion

Has he ever been in the military? Including National Service

Thanks. He never served (went into shipbuilding then became a fire fighter) but I'll contact age UK.

This should help you!

Do you have a local LIONS club? Not sure if it's something they would do but I know they help older members of the community.
