Left my car in my local Waitrose car park for 2 hours 20 minutes. It's a free car park, there is no camera, no ticket system. Didn't realise you are only supposed to park for 2 hours. Went to pay online today and it didn't recognise the PCN number or my car registration. Rang them, got an automated system, typed in the number of the ticket and again, it wasn't recognised.
I've googled Britannia and according to moneysavingexpert.com I shouldn't bother paying as its not an official charge and they are scammers??
Not sure what to do now!
