What happened with the VIP sex scandal?

I remember there being an alleged VIP grooming ring... what happened? From googling I can see some witnesses are being charged with making hoax claims. Was it all made up?

Is this the Kitty thing? Certainly don’t seem to be any prosecutions.

I called it a sex scandal as I couldn't see any prosecutions so unsure if it is child abuse or a hoax... obviously if it's genuine there'd be a better word but I can't see for sure
