To be pissed off with cadbury's/walkers (insert other brand here)

My mum has come from the UK to visit me and brought me cadbury's and walker's prawn cocktail crisps. The change in taste is remarkable. Every time she comes with the goods they taste worse! The crisps aren't the tangy ones I remember, the chocolate is just meh. On the other hand she bought me a variety green and black's pack, the butterscotch, almond, bitter orange and milk ones are to die for! I'm never going back to sub par cadbury's again.

You sound like a god being brought sub standard offerings!!

Have prawn cocktail really changed as well? I can’t notice the difference with them, how have they changed? Cadbury’s has changed a lot. I don’t even crave a dairy milk or fruit and nut anymore.
Ribena has changed aswell.

Cadbury's were bought by Kraft and the recipe changed. To include horrible palm oil I believe. I used to love them too. Green & Blacks were bought by Kraft too. I used to like it, but don't anymore - waxy and less taste. I prefer Lindt dark choc now.

Oh ffs does that mean G&B will go downhill as well? I really used to enjoy cadbury's as well. The crisps don't taste like they used to. Hardly any flavour. Those things used to be my treat not having them for a while 😪

Why. Definitely substandard.

Try Seabrook prawn cocktail crisps. They are far superior to Walkers nowadays.
