Mine just popped into my head.
it’s a profound reflection on the relationship between our words and perception when interpretations are made by an outside agency

Far and few, far and few, are the lands where the Jumblies live. Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, and they went to sea in a sieve.

agedknees · 01/06/2018 00:20

Mine is self explanatory. Too many years lifting heavy patients (before hoists) have buggered my knees (and back, shoulder etc. Etc. Etc.)

serendipitintea · 01/06/2018 00:22

Serendipity is my favourite word. And I like dipping things in tea.

SpitefulMidLifeAnimal · 01/06/2018 00:29

Some poster once said we were all a bunch of spiteful mid-life animals.

GlitterGlassEye · 01/06/2018 00:29

Because ex-SIL did glitter glasses as a side business and I almost lost an eye due to a serious infection a couple of years ago . I thought that bitch would glitter my replacement eye should I need one.

WattdeEll · 01/06/2018 00:32

I am often thinking it when reading some of the AIBU antics

HollyGibney · 01/06/2018 00:33

Holly Gibney is a character from the Bill Hodges trilogy by Stephen King. Those books are the best thing he's written in years, full of lovely, likeable characters. She's a private detective, very quirky, funny and brave and possibly has autism, which both my children have.

HollyGibney · 01/06/2018 00:33

I've actually only changed to this name a few days ago. Had the same name for ages before that.

Dreamscomingtrue · 01/06/2018 00:38

After a tough few years I’m living in hope that my dreams will come true.

ItsalmostSummer · 01/06/2018 00:40

Mine’s boring compared to these. I pretty much only love summer and spend most of the year looking forward to it.

Deshasafraisy · 01/06/2018 00:40

Fresh as a daisy

RatOnnaStick · 01/06/2018 00:43

Goes well with ketchup.

CanIBuffalo · 01/06/2018 00:46

A line from one of my favourite Victoria Wood sketches

AngeloMysterioso · 01/06/2018 00:49

L’Angelo Misterioso was the pseudonym used by George Harrison when he and Eric Clapton wrote a song for Cream’s Goodbye album. Then Eric Clapton played as Angelo Mysterioso on Ed Sheeran’s Divide album and Ed used the name again on EC’s I Still Do album. Pretty cool name/story, at least I thought so Grin

Somtamthai · 01/06/2018 00:50

Mine is my favourite food.

Papaya salad from the south of Thailand

PomBearWithoutHerOFRS · 01/06/2018 00:52

I was PomBearWithAnORFS, but got signed out and had to become this name to get back in.
I was here when the original "pom bear anyone" thread happened so picked it, and the OFRS is cos I am a prepper Grin

KeepServingTheDrinks · 01/06/2018 00:53

I saw a play once where one of the characters was an air stewardess who had been in a plane which had gone down, and she said something like "it's what they teach you in training... Keep calm and keep serving the drinks" and I like drinking!

I previously had a user name that was a tribute to the late, great Sir Terry, but it was quite obscure and people misunderstood it and took it as a reference to my age, so it had to go. I miss that name.

But I like this one.

I like when people tag me, they call me "keep". In RL I have a name which can't be shortened, so I like having a user name which is!

Kursk · 01/06/2018 01:03

I spun the Globe on google earth and picked the town the mouse landed on.

Gammeldragz · 01/06/2018 01:05

Mine was originally just Ragz, which was my graffiti tag when I was a teenager (made up from parts of my first and last names). The Gammel was added last year while on the low Carb bootcamp threads, in reference to another poster's trip abroad where they discovered the local name for pork scratchings, a popular LC snack, Gammeldags. I find that poster inspiring and have kept it. I'm not particularly fond of pork scratchings though

QueJamones · 01/06/2018 01:09

I was learning Spanish when I first met dh... was some banter in favour of my legs... means 'what hams!'

MooseBeTimeForSpring · 01/06/2018 01:17

I’m in Canada. It’s almost June and I can see snow outside my window.

I interchange Spring with Coffee, Summer or Snow as necessary!

agnurse · 01/06/2018 01:17

Mine looks a bit odd because it's my initials (A.G.) coupled with "nurse" because I am one.

Whyarealltheusernamestaken · 01/06/2018 01:18

Mine is obvious!!!!

VerbenaBoriensis · 01/06/2018 01:18

Mine is just a plant name.
