So long and thanks for all the fish....

It’s what the dolphins said (or tried to say) to the humans right before the left earth as it was to be destroyed to make way for an intergalactic bypass.

It’s from the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy book(s) by Douglas Adams.

TheOriginalEmu · 01/06/2018 01:20

Emu is a nickname given to my by friends when I was younger. I added the ‘the original’ even though I’m not really Grin

HoomanMoomin · 01/06/2018 01:23

I love Moomins and am fat.

midmidlifecrisis · 01/06/2018 01:35

I change frequently, but at the moment it is this because I believe I am having a 'half way to mid life' crisis.

FairfaxAikman · 01/06/2018 01:35

Say it out loud

Myheartbelongsto · 01/06/2018 01:42

Mine should have a g on the end which is the initial of my boyfriend's first name.

Evil Princess with many heads from return to Oz. I watched this film obsessively as a child and have clearly been affected by the scene with the head changing princess.

GeorgiesBoat · 01/06/2018 01:44

Poor Georgie Sad

OfficeDictionary · 01/06/2018 01:47

I work in an office and have a good vocabulary. My colleagues call me the Office Dictionary.

Time40 · 01/06/2018 02:03

I thought mine was funny (and I couldn't have it on Ebay because someone else had got it already).

CoolGirlsNeverGetAngry · 01/06/2018 02:12

It’s a Gone Girl quote. I thought of it after reading yet another mention of “cool wives” on a thread about shit husbands.

Hisnamesblaine · 01/06/2018 02:14

My birthstone and the year I was born.

KingIrving · 01/06/2018 02:23

two authors I really, Stephen King and John Irving. And KingIrving sounded better than IrvingKing

TittyFahLaEtcetera · 01/06/2018 02:35

Mine's from my favourite Two Ronnies sketch - The Ballad of Shovelling and Grudge.

TittyFahLaEtcetera · 01/06/2018 02:35

*Snivelling FFS!

RhodaBorrocks · 01/06/2018 02:38

It's a spoonerism. Because I usually post a load of bollocks.

That and it's apparently how David Bowie signed his emails.

RhodaBorrocks · 01/06/2018 02:40

No. It's not a spoonerism. It's late, please see my username. Kind of proving my own point here.

doomRaider · 01/06/2018 02:48

It's like Tomb Raider but I cleverly changed Tomb to Doom.

MakeItStopNeville · 01/06/2018 02:51

Mine came from the wanking monkey thread and I never got round to changing it. I probably should now....

brizzledrizzle · 01/06/2018 03:02

Because it rhymes and because it does - often.

HappenedForAReisling · 01/06/2018 03:13

Because I like....

Imbluedabadee · 01/06/2018 03:16

I think mine is fairly obvious Grin I thought it was time to NC and this really annoying song was stuck in my head

MrsMarigold · 01/06/2018 03:18

I spend too much time doing household chores but never feel like I'm on top of cleaning.

vinegarqueen · 01/06/2018 03:20

I found out cider vinegar was great for mosquito bites, and then that it was great as an anti-frizz rinse for hair, and that it de-smells the kitchen drain... etc etc. It's getting a bit silly now, like the guy from Big Fat Greek Wedding who puts Windex on everything. Hence the username.
