Ok I will be attending a wedding in Marbella next month, I an early 30s, not bad shape if I must say so myself, but typical mum tum, stretchmarks etc, AIBU to worry about all the beautiful tanned early 20s sauntering around , whilst I am here frantically looking for a head to toe swim suit?
It will be old town. Please tell me there is normal everyday mamas like me around. I think tis the whole TOWIE thing has made me think this.

Of course there will be. Have some confidence in yourself I bet you're more critical of your body than anyone else would ever be!

God no, there's all sorts there!

Besides, who cares?? You'll be having a great time with friends :)

We were there a few months ago - saw hardly any 'beautiful people' most were just normal verging on absolute tickets. You'll be fine.

I went to Marbella last year. I’m early 40s and a good size 14. I didn’t feel out of place at all. I loved it Smile

MrsPreston11 · 31/05/2018 19:44

Oh I thought this was going to be because you’re dreading Brits abroad/all day breakfast/McDonald’s on the beach vibe Marbella has.

You’ll be fine. Spain is so much healthier with body shapes etc. I never feel self concious on Spanish beaches.

The venue for that marriage ceremony seems to be Orange Square Town Hall, which is just delightful. Enjoy the wedding and the surroundings and the reception.

As long as you are comfortable with your outfit you will be absolutely fine. I doubt anyone will be in a bikini for the ceremony!

After the wedding, you can wear what you want, no one gives a shiny shit. Please do not stress about it, just enjoy.

Always remember, no one is looking at you, they are looking at themselves ALWAYS.

I was there earlier this year, it's full of people of all ages and sizes. Jut enjoy it as much as you can.
