A parking one of sorts

Sorry it’s a parking one of sorts
I have a double drive . I bought my house 20 plus years ago .
In my deeds it’s states that I can use any of the visitor spots for my visitors if I need to . I pay a nominal amount each year to do this

The rest of the houses in the street on my side belong to a HA apart from one other that has one drive and a VS next to it

Each house has its own driveway .
Next to each the drive is a vistors spot (VS) there are also a few spare VS
Every single house parks their fucking car diagonally across the drive to prevent anyone else parking on the VS even on the spare spots the family members put their cars on it

So over the years I’ve had arguments with them about this when I have had visitors and they can’t park or they have parked only to get a load of abuse when leaving about parking in there VS

I’ve just had a massive argument with one of them because my dad who has a blue badge parked quite legally on the VS.

The guy was right up in my face going really mad saying it was his spot for his house and visitors and where was his son supposed to park .

I did get a bit mad and I told him to fuck off and to get new glasses as he obviously couldn’t see the clearly signed VS

I really want to ring the HA and report these fuckers but im wondering if it will make it worse not that I’m bothered about the neighbours

The VS are clearly marked as VS as the HA repaint them every year

Come on OP you know the rules, we need a diagram....

Mummyduck10 · 30/05/2018 13:46

Diagram please.

Flyme21 · 30/05/2018 13:49

You don't need a diagram, you've explained the situation perfectly. If you want access to the visitors' spaces you'll have to contact the HA to get it clarified with their tenants.

PickwickThePlockingDodo · 30/05/2018 13:53

We bloody do need a diagram - thems the rules Grin

Tistheseason17 · 30/05/2018 14:03

This post seems to be missing a diagram... 😉

notapizzaeater · 30/05/2018 14:13

If he was aggressive then yes I'd e reporting him to the ha

BlueSapp · 30/05/2018 14:15

Magpiemagpie · 30/05/2018 14:17

I'm guessing he thinks the VS next to his drive is for his visitors not everybody else's visitors? I'd contact the HA and report the fucker ask them to remind everyone the VS are for all visitors.

PrettyLovely · 30/05/2018 20:37

Your should report them.

AllMYSmellySocks · 30/05/2018 20:40

Of course you should report, they sound vile.

Knittedfairies · 30/05/2018 20:48

Ask the HA for clarification and ask them to copy in the neighbours.

SimonBridges · 30/05/2018 20:48

You know this because it’s in your deeds. Are the people in the HA houses being told about this in their contracts etc?
