One of our local fish delivery companies is called The Codfather

AnnaBay I loved spud -u-like and pestered my DM to take me there on a regular basis , the amount of times she would tell me be careful it is hot but I would dive in anyway and ALWAYS burnt my tongue. ( I was only about 9/10 )

French Connection lost the FCUK branding a while ago but I still refuse to shop there. Not so much because I’m offended but because the nudge nudge “do you see what we did there? It’s almost a rude word? Aren’t we NAUGHTY?!” marketing made me want to punch someone.

I used to read a science fiction and fantasy magazine called SFX. Fine, except that when you cover the bottom of the middle letter with your coverstar’s forehead it looks like this. They went through a phase of always having scantily clad young women on the front as well, and I honestly didn’t want to read it in public. Fortunately they’ve grown up a bit now and also realised that they’re catering to a generally quite “woke” demographic so it’s less of a problem (they still have women on the front cover but they’re normally part of a team and/or fully clothed).

Is FCUK still a thing? I just remember the t-shirts from the early noughties.

I think my all time most inappropriate was a shop I saw in France called...

This is why I've never ordered a fillet-o-fish. I hate the name. What the fuck is the 'o' doing?! Is It a big 'oh' or a little 'o' as in time o' day? Do we pronounce the T in fillet or are we being French?
